Vermont ranks as a top romance and wedding destination in the US with over hundreds of thousands traveling to our beloved state to attend a wedding or to say “I do.” The trend in destination weddings is about selecting a location rich in heritage, history, beauty and romance. Vermont has all these, plus exceptional reception sites and talented professionals who are knowledgeable in the latest styles and trends.

Our Vermont Association of Wedding Professionals is the only not-for-profit organization dedicated to making the State of Vermont a first class wedding destination. Taking advantage of the wealth of beauty plus the amazing collection of wedding professionals in this state, our purpose is to brand Vermont as the ideal place to hold your celebration by providing beautiful venues with professional services delivered with the highest standards.   We are primarily member-driven with a limited part-time staff, keeping our costs down so that we can dedicate the vast majority of our resources to marketing our incredible members. We consist of roughly 150 businesses throughout the state of Vermont who are dedicated to providing the best, highest quality service and products to brides and grooms available. We also offer educational seminars and business networking events for our members.
